“You Said – We Listened”
In our National Patient Survey in 2017 you said that you had difficulty in getting through on the telephone.
As a result of this we had a new telephone system installed in 2018.
There was a big improvement in this area in the National Patient Survey in 2019 which is available on this website.
As a practice we are always prepared to listen and make changes to improve our service to you our patients.
These results were presented to the Friends of Wrafton House Patient Participation Group at their committee meeting on Tuesday 14th January 2020. The committee were very appreciative of the doctors and staff who they felt all work extremely hard in sometimes difficult circumstances.
The committee are always looking for new members to join them. You can either join in their committee meetings or be a participant in e mail surveys.
Please ask at reception for more details.
Dr Kelley & Partners
This group was set up over 20 years ago, with the co-operation of the practice, to provide support for the practice and patients.
Since its formation, money has been raised by subscriptions, donations and raffles. These funds have been used to:
- Purchase additional medical equipment not available through the National Health Service
- Purchase items for the benefit of patients eg air conditioning in the waiting room, blood pressure testing equipment, weight and height equipment.
At the Annual General meeting in 2018 the Committee decided to no longer be a Registered Charity and collect funds as this does not fit in with the Clinical Commissioning Group vision of patient Participation Groups. The remaining funds were transferred to the Practice and will pay towards the rental of the Health Pod for one more year.
As we look forward to another busy year, the patient Participation Group room in the Reception area is going to be used a Community Navigator Hub. The Social Prescriber will be working from there and our Committee have kindly offered to come along on a rota basis to man the room and hand out leaflets to patients. There are many voluntary groups who can offer help to patients in several ways:- AgeUK, Herts Help, Herts Independent Living, Dementia etc.
The Committee would welcome new patients to work with them.
If you have some time to spare, please ask at Reception.
